It could not have been shorter or clearer. And I recognised it straight away.<\/p>\n<p>He had a lot of questions and challenges now that his company had grown considerably. And he realised that this phase asked different things of himself and of his people.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size:26px;line-height:1.25;margin:44px 0 14px\">An independent sounding board<\/h2>\n<p>But there was something else.<\/p>\n<p>He was also looking for an independent sounding board, someone to test his vision against and to ask his questions. I recognised that, because that is always the point. They don\u2019t say it\u2019s lonely at the top for nothing.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size:26px;line-height:1.25;margin:44px 0 14px\">One thing leads to another<\/h2>\n<p>It became a journey of years, as it does with many clients. And here too, it did not stop at his own challenges. Can you meet him as well and run an assessment?\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style:none;border-left:3px solid #EC9712;padding:6px 0 6px 20px;margin:0 0 14px;color:#252640;font-size:18px;line-height:1.5\">\u201cI want to organise a few sessions for my entire management team, so they work together better.\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style:none;border-left:3px solid #EC9712;padding:6px 0 6px 20px;margin:0 0 14px;color:#252640;font-size:18px;line-height:1.5\">\u201cI want you to coach my operations manager, because he is taking on more and more responsibility.\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style:none;border-left:3px solid #EC9712;padding:6px 0 6px 20px;margin:0 0 14px;color:#252640;font-size:18px;line-height:1.5\">\u201cI\u2019m working on an acquisition and want to map the strengths and development areas of the employees. Will you talk to them and run assessments?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"font-size:26px;line-height:1.25;margin:44px 0 14px\">Shoulder to shoulder<\/h2>\n<p>HELP, I\u2019m growing. That is how a short cry for help can grow into a partnership of many years.
